Lark Distillery – Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 58%)

Lark Cask Strength is a single malt from Lark Distillery in Tasmania's Coal River Valley, bottled at 58% in a 50cl bottle. It is distilled, bottled and labelled by hand. A strong port cask influence runs through it, alongside dried fruit, butterscotch, maple syrup and Tasmanian highland peat. The nose offers cinnamon, nutmeg, liquorice and orange peel with vanilla, butterscotch and oak. The palate is intensely vanilla, with Christmas cake sweetness, citrus, stewed fruits, maple syrup and a hint of peat smoke. The finish is warming and long, with citrus, spices and toffee.
