Lark – Distillery Classic Cask Single Malt (50cl, 43%)

Lark Distillery Classic Cask is a single malt from Tasmania, bottled at 43% in a 50cl bottle. It is double-distilled in locally made copper pot stills and matured in small casks. The Lark house style shows here as bright citrus and butterscotch around a gentle wisp of Tasmanian peat. The nose brings golden syrup, vanilla and plum pudding with Christmas cake spice and a hint of smoke. The palate moves from vanilla to orange peel, butterscotch, clove, nutmeg and grapefruit, and the long finish carries butterscotch, citrus and a smoky tail.
