Lark Rare Cask Brokenwood Graveyard Shiraz is a Tasmanian single malt, bottled at 51% in a 70cl bottle. It is the third release in the Lark Rare Cask series.
The whisky comes from the Coal Valley Distillery and was finished in two casks that previously held Brokenwood's Graveyard Shiraz, sourced from Brokenwood Wines in the foothills of the Hunter Valley.
The nose combines blood plums and mulberries with allspice, cardamom, black pepper and Seville orange marmalade. On the palate come red apple, honey, eucalyptus and dried ginger, leading to a dry finish of green peppercorns, dark chocolate and orange oil.
