Lark Distillery Symphony No.1 is the first blended malt from the House of Lark, made from Tasmanian single malt whiskies. It is bottled at 40.2% in a 50cl bottle.
Head Distiller Chris Thomson combined American oak bourbon casks, sherry casks and port casks, aiming for a creamy, oily texture.
The nose offers fresh mango, toasted pineapple, orange, vanilla and tangerine. The palate brings peaches, apricot, more mango and sweet Tasmanian apples dipped in toffee, and the finish is fresh fruit and citrus.
