Kurio Crimson Jam is a Tasmanian blended malt from Lark Distillery, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is finished in Tasmanian cherry casks and in casks that previously held sparkling wine.
The nose is jammy with red fruit and honeyed apricot, along with nutmeg, toasted oak and a little apple-wood smoke. On the palate come Black Forest cake, caramelised figs and dark chocolate, with sweet cherry and baking spice. The finish is long, with cherry jam, custard and mocha.
