Lark Symphony No.1 Blended Malt Whisky (50cl, 40%)

This is the first blended malt from Lark, made entirely from Tasmanian single malt whiskies and bottled at 40% ABV. Head Distiller Chris Thomson combined American oak bourbon casks, sherry casks and port casks, bringing together the complexity of the bourbon wood, the balance of the sherry and the heavier depth of the port. The result is described as creamy and oily. The nose offers fresh mango, toasted pineapple, orange, vanilla and tangerine. On the palate come peaches, apricot, more mango and sweet Tasmanian apples dipped in toffee, followed by a finish of fresh fruit and citrus.
