Launceston Distillery – H17:02 Tawny Cask Matured

Launceston Distillery H17:02 is a Tasmanian single malt from batch H17:02, matured for two and a half years in small French oak casks that previously held tawny from South Australia. A dozen casks were vatted and left to marry together before bottling. The whisky was double distilled and is non-chill filtered, which the distillery says keeps its depth of character. It is described as a rich, robust, full flavoured winter warmer.
