Ledaig 17 Year Old 2005 Signatory Cask Strength

This is a 17 year old Ledaig, the peated style of Tobermory Distillery, bottled by Signatory Vintage for its Cask Strength Collection. The whisky was distilled in 2005 and matured in a single refill sherry butt. It was bottled at natural cask strength in September 2022, and 463 individually numbered bottles were filled. Ledaig is described as robust and maritime, with earthy smoke. The refill sherry wood is said to add dried fruit, spice and sweetness alongside the peat and coastal notes.
