Legendary Scot Highland Malt 5 Year Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky bottled in the 1960s by Strathdearn Scottish Distillers Ltd.
The nose opens with lime peel and sugared lemon, then yeast dough, vanilla and porridge, with a delicate wisp of smoke. The palate is light-bodied but lively, with citrus, fresh tree sap, yellow fruits and a touch of ginger, balanced by a roasted bitterness.
The finish is medium in length and warming, with a gentle spiciness and lingering citrus zest.
