Legent is a Kentucky straight bourbon at 47%, in a 70cl bottle. It is a collaboration between Fred Noe of Jim Beam and Shinji Fukuyo of Suntory.
The bourbon is matured first in American oak, then finished in red wine and sherry casks, which gives it a fruity character.
The nose offers soft vanilla, ripe cherries, oak and light spices. The palate has a rich bourbon body with sweet caramel, red fruits, subtle wine notes and an elegant spiciness. The finish is long and warm.
