Lhéraud Cognac Petite Champagne 1964 was distilled in 1964 and aged in oak for 50 years before being bottled in 2014. Petite Champagne is one of the two finest crus of the Cognac region, known for its chalky soil.
Lhéraud distils by hand in a traditional copper-pot alembic still, without electronic controls, and ages its cognacs in Limousin and Tronçais oak.
The cognac is very harmonious and lightly woody, with sweet spices and a long finish of dry fruit.
