This limited single malt from Lindores Abbey Distillery in Scotland commemorates the first official distilling of whisky at Lindores Abbey in 1494. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration and with natural colour.
The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose has vanilla, honey, citrus, spice and malt with a hint of smoke. The palate is full, soft and balanced, with toffee as well. The finish is long and warm, with a light smoky note.
