Lindores Nectere Lowland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 47.2%)

Lindores Nectere is a Lowland single malt from Lindores Abbey Distillery in Newburgh, Fife, bottled on site at 47.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky was matured entirely in sherry casks: Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado, which bring dark fruit, spice and nuttiness. The nose offers treacle, raisins and red apples, with vanilla custard cream and cinnamon. On the palate come molasses, sticky dark fruit, chocolate-coated raisins, macaroons, toffee and pecans, with baking spice. The finish is long and creamy, with gentle spice.
