This is a single cask Ben Nevis distilled in 1999 and matured for 26 years, bottled by Little Brown Dog Spirits at 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn is 220 bottles. The bottler points to the strong distillate character of Ben Nevis, balanced by the wood after 26 years of maturation. The nose offers pineapple cubes, French fancies and grape soda. The finish brings pineapple tarts and flaky pastry, with a touch of nutmeg.
