Little Brown Dog Secret Speyside Distillery 1998 (70cl, 50.2%)

This single cask Speyside single malt from Little Brown Dog was filled into a bourbon barrel on 10 June 1998 and bottled on 31 October 2024 at 50.2%. It is the oldest single malt the bottler has released so far, and the label marks that with reversed copper foiling and an aged green copper dog. Only 245 bottles were filled. The nose has Beaumes de Venise, candy floss and Bounty bars. The palate brings crème brûlée, poached pears and a coconut-rum sweetness. The finish is toasted coconut and fizzy popping candy.
