Little Brown Dog x Living Souls 46 Year Old Blended Malt (70cl, 41.2%)

This is a 46-year-old blended malt from Little Brown Dog and Living Souls, bottled at 41.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of three single casks from the 1970s: one from Glen Garioch, Little Brown Dog's local distillery in Aberdeenshire, and one each from Cambus and Carsebridge in Stirlingshire, Living Souls' home ground. The youngest whisky in the blend dates from 26 March 1979. The label artwork is inspired by the floral prints of old living rooms. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The tasting notes describe tinned lychees in syrup, pink grapefruit and an antique shop on the nose, then candy floss and blueberry panacotta on the palate, and a finish of sherbet dib dab and rooibos tea.
