Kildalton is a 19-year-old Islay blended malt from Living Souls, bottled at 42% ABV as a limited edition. It is composed of Islay single malts that matured for 19 years in refill bourbon and sherry casks, and it is bottled without chill-filtration and with its natural colour.
The nose is maritime, with salty sea air and the scent of an old wooden rowing boat. The palate has a creamy sweetness likened to liquorice ice cream, mingling with a salty breeze. The finish is rich and peaty.
