Ninety-Nine & One Error #2 is a 16 year old Scotch single malt from independent bottler Living Souls, bottled at 52.1% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to a series that embraces the unexpected side of whisky making. The nose is rich, with ripe orchard fruit, dried apricots and orange peel alongside honey, vanilla and sweet malt; butterscotch, toasted nuts and baking spices emerge with time. The palate is full-bodied, with baked apple, ripe peach, dried fruit, caramel, vanilla fudge and honeyed malt, plus toasted nuts, cinnamon and oak spice. The finish is long and warming, with fruit sweetness, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and gently drying spice.
