This is a Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, bottled by La Maison du Whisky as Edition 5.1 of its fifth Artist Collective collection. It was distilled in 2014 and matured for six years in a second-fill Sherry butt before bottling in 2021 at 57.1% ABV.
The nose is fruity, with ripe orchard fruit, dried fruit and floral notes over malt and warming spice. The palate is full and energetic, with malt sweetness, Sherry character, peppery spice and subtle nutty notes. The finish is long and warming, with fruit, spice, malt and dry Sherry.
