Loch Castle Selected Blend is a blended Scotch whisky. The nose is sweet and lactic with a touch of smoke, alongside stable hay, leather, caramel and a faint funk.
On the palate it opens very sweet, with toffee and cookie dough and a buttery texture, before turning bitter and dry, with leather and a whiff of smoke. The finish is short and mineral, with leather that gradually becomes tobacco.
