This is a single malt from Lochlea, made on Lochlea Farm near Craigie in Ayrshire. It brings together seven first-fill bourbon barrels, all filled in 2018 and matured entirely on the farm. The whisky was bottled in 2025 at 50% after seven years, which made it Lochlea's oldest bottling at the time. About 2,500 bottles were filled, with no colouring and no chill-filtration.
The nose is creamy, fruity stewed apple. The palate is full and creamy, with tropical fruit, a hint of apple and fresh oak. The very long finish brings shortbread, cereal, warming spices and tart slices of green apple.
