Dark Briar is a single malt from Lochlea Distillery and part of its new core range. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was inspired by the distillery's Fallow Edition and is matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry butts and Port casks. The whisky is described as rich, with layers of juicy red fruits, ginger cake and velvety baking spice.
