Our Barley is the core bottling from Lochlea, a Lowlands single malt at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The barley is grown on the distillery's own farm.
It matures in first-fill Bourbon, Oloroso sherry and STR casks, and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings pear syrup, vanilla, peach, nuts, yeast and green herbs. The palate is round and fruity, with malt, rye, macadamia nuts and a hint of pepper. The finish is modest, with notes of grain and beeswax.
