This is a single malt from Lochlea, a distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland, released under the name Our Barley.
On the nose there are ripe pears and fruit sweets, followed by ginger and lemon marmalade and a touch of cinnamon. The palate is fresh and fruity, like muesli with golden syrup and caramel.
The finish is waxy, with macadamia nuts, vanilla and sweet oranges.
