Lochlea Our Barley is a Scotch single malt bottled at 46%, made with barley grown and selected in the distillery's own fields. The name reflects the importance of barley to Lochlea's whisky. It is matured in three types of cask: ex-bourbon, ex-Oloroso sherry and STR. STR stands for shaved, toasted, recharred: a layer of wood is removed from a tired cask, which is then toasted and charred again to renew the influence of the wood on the spirit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
