Lochlea – Our Barley (70cl, 46%)

Lochlea Our Barley is a Lowland single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV, made by combining first-fill Bourbon, Oloroso sherry and STR casks. Production Director John Campbell developed the recipe. It is non-chill-filtered, with no added colouring. The first-fill Bourbon barrels, from Loretto, Kentucky, bring golden syrup and cream soda flavours. The Oloroso sherry butts, from Jerez, add fruit bon bons, marmalade and macadamia nuts, while the STR ex-Rioja barriques contribute peppery spice and rye bread notes.
