Lochlea – Our Barley (70cl, 46%)

Lochlea Our Barley is the first core range single malt from the Lochlea distillery in the Lowlands. It was created by John Campbell, the distillery manager and master blender, who took up the role in November 2021. The whisky is matured in three types of cask: first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, STR casks and ex-Oloroso sherry butts. Together they add vanilla, caramel, flowers and dried fruit to a round, deep flavour profile. It is bottled at 46% ABV, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
