Lochlea Our Barley is a Lowland single malt and the first standard bottling from the Lochlea farm distillery. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The barley is grown on the farm and the whole production takes place on site. The whisky was matured in bourbon, sherry and STR casks.
The nose is led by fresh pear, citrus and light fruit, with honey, malt and a little spice. The palate is soft and round, with cereal, caramel and a gentle sweetness. The finish is clean, lightly nutty and dry.
