Lochlea Red Wine Cask 2026 is a single malt from the Ayrshire distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is the second release in Lochlea's annual Red Wine Cask series.
This edition turns to Tuscan Sangiovese casks, which bring an Italian influence to the farm-grown spirit of the distillery.
The nose offers red berries, baked apple and honey. The palate is creamy, with ripe fruit and nuttiness, and the finish carries gentle tannin and spice.
