Sowing Edition Second Crop is a small batch single malt Scotch whisky from Lochlea, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is a working farm, and its Sowing Editions follow the farming calendar.
This release was matured in fresh first-fill ex-bourbon barrels taken from higher up in the warehouse.
The nose is sweet red apple and pear. The palate brings vanilla pods and almond oil, leading to a medium finish with a crisp, refreshing note of pine forest.
