Lochlea Sowing Edition Second Crop is a seasonal, small batch single malt in a 70cl bottle. The Sowing Edition celebrates the farm distillery calendar, and this is its second release.
It was aged only in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. The nose is fruity, with sweet apples and pears. On the palate come vanilla pods and almond oil, leading to a crisp, refreshing finish with a hint of pine.
