Lochlea – Sowing Edition Second Crop (46%)

This is the Sowing Edition Second Crop from Lochlea, a Lowland single malt bottled at 46%. It opens the second year of seasonal releases from the independent, family-run farm distillery, which come out quarterly and follow the changing seasons on the farm. The whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks kept high in the warehouse, where the warmer conditions brought a more intense maturation. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
