A Texas rye whiskey from Lone Elm, bottled at 50% (100 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It is aged for a minimum of four years, and the mash bill is 60% rye, 30% wheat and 10% barley. The whiskey is finished in honey from Kaufman County. The nose offers rye spice, vanilla, freshly cut Texas grass and mint. The palate brings dark rye bread with orange jelly, macadamia nuts, dark cocoa and a light, rounded note of wild honey. The finish is lasting, with rye spice and that same wild honey note.
