Lone Elm Single Barrel is a straight wheat whiskey from Texas, in a 70cl bottle at 50.6% ABV. It has been aged for a minimum of four years. The mash bill is 90 per cent wheat and 10 per cent barley. The nose is typically described as cherries, tobacco and cedarwood. On the palate come dark cherries, blackcurrants, cocoa, saddle leather and vanilla, followed by a soft, warming finish with notes of wild honey.
