Lone Elm Straight Wheat Sherry Barrel Finish (70cl, 53%)

Lone Elm Straight Wheat is a Texas whiskey made from a mash bill of 90 percent wheat and 10 percent barley. This edition is in a 70cl bottle at 53% ABV and has spent at least four years in wood. It was finished in a sherry barrel, which sets it apart from the standard bottling. Cherries, honey and vanilla lead the nose, with wild cherries alongside. On the palate come black dried cherries, dates, sweet dark chocolate and caramel, with a note of port. The finish is soft and round, with sherry notes.
