A 12 year old straight bourbon from Kentucky, bottled at 47.5% ABV (95 proof) in a tall decanter-style bottle. It is aged in charred American oak barrels, and each release is individually numbered.
The name was inspired by a dog on the distillery grounds with one long, stubborn whisker.
Tasting notes describe a nose of caramelised sugar, dried apricot, toasted oak and warm leather. The palate is rich and velvety, with dark toffee, cinnamon, orange peel and vanilla over deep oak. The finish is long and warming, with molasses, clove and charred oak.
