Long John De Luxe 8 Years Old

Long John De Luxe is an 8 year old Scotch whisky, sold in its box. The nose is ripe and balanced, led by toasted cereal and malt, followed by gentle sweetness of honey, vanilla and dry straw, with light touches of ripe apple. The body is robust yet unctuous. A sweet flavour of toasted almonds comes first, then white pepper spice and a light smokiness from traditional Scottish peat. The finish is medium to long and warming, with oak, honey and a pleasant, subtle dry bitterness returning at the end.
