A 16 year old Speyside single malt from Longmore, released as a Private Edition to take the place of the distillery's 15 year old. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is perfumed, with soft oak, a touch of Christmas cake, sweet spice and raisins. Pear comes first on the palate, then toasty oak and rich custard-tart sweetness. The finish is long, woody and spicy, ending slightly dry.
