This is a 48 year old Longmorn single malt from Speyside, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 1964, matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 2012 as part of their Distillery Labels series.
The tasting notes describe rum and raisin with hints of old leather and beeswax polish. Stewed prune follows, and a delicate hint of nutmeg lingers.
