A 19-year-old Speyside single malt from Longmorn, distilled in 2006 and released in 2026 by Gleann Mor in its Rare Find range. It comes from single cask 12597 and is bottled at a cask strength of 60.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The edition is 155 bottles, with no added colouring and no chill filtration.
The whisky was finished for 14 months in an Amarone barrique, a cask that previously held the Italian red wine.
The nose combines stewed plums and ripe hedgerow berries with buttery shortbread and hints of golden tobacco. The palate is thick and syrupy, with red berries, redcurrants, dark chocolate and lacquered oak. The finish stays soft and fruity, with a sparkling oakiness.
