A single cask Longmorn from Speyside, distilled on 30 October 2008 and bottled in 2026 at 53.1% ABV after 17 years in a first-fill Oloroso butt. Cask 1240 yielded 455 bottles. Bartels Whisky selected it for the Highland Laird range, and it is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring.
Raisins and roasted walnuts lead the nose, with fine chocolate and a sweet Oloroso note. On the palate, malty sweetness, cinnamon and clove meet dry oak, with a hint of orange. The finish is long, with coffee, lingering chocolate and gently dry spice.
