1st fill bourbon barrel
A 13-year-old Speyside single malt from Longmorn, distilled on 2 April 2012 and matured throughout in a single first-fill bourbon barrel, cask 910. Signatory Vintage bottled it on 7 August 2025 for its Cask Strength Collection at 59.1% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colouring. The cask gave 227 bottles. The bourbon cask shows in light fruit, vanilla and coconut, with spice and dry oak coming through in the finish. The nose combines green apple, pear, ripe banana and citrus with a fine honey sweetness. On the palate there is juicy pear, citrus zest, caramel and creamy vanilla, with a slightly oily texture. The long finish brings vanilla, honey, white pepper, ginger and dry oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
