Longmorn 23 Year Old is a single malt from the Longmorn distillery, matured for 23 years before bottling at 54.5% ABV. It was released in 2017 and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is described as rich and complex, with apples, pears, milk chocolate and vanilla. The nose brings Jamaican ginger cake, honeycomb and toasted malt. Melon and Jazz apple build on the palate, which stays chocolatey, and the finish is very long, subtly peppery and full of rounded vanilla.
