Longrow – 10 Years Old

Longrow 10 Years Old is a Campbeltown single malt, made by J&A Mitchell & Co. The original Longrow distillery was built on Longrow street in Campbeltown by John Ross in 1824, and the name was revived by Springbank in 1973. The malt is dried for 48 hours over a peat fire, using Islay peat, and the whisky is distilled twice. The nose mixes orange and clove with sweet caramel and mint chocolate. The palate is very smoky and robustly spicy, and the finish is both very sweet and dry.
