Longrow 100 Proof is the 2026 release of the heavily peated Longrow, made at the Springbank distillery and bottled at 57.1% ABV.
It combines red wine maturation with bourbon cask maturation.
The nose brings redcurrants, Madagascan vanilla, tiger prawns, salami and peppercorns, with an ashy note from the start. On the palate the peat smoke builds alongside tobacco, cigar smoke, dark fruits and leather. The finish turns spicy, with chilli peppers and cherry menthol, while the peat smoke carries on.
