Longrow 100 Proof Batch 2 2026 (70cl, 57.1%)

A cask strength Longrow from Springbank in Campbeltown, bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle as the second batch of the 100 Proof series, in its 2026 edition. It is a limited bottling. The whisky was matured in bourbon barrels and Rioja red wine casks, and was bottled in 2025. The result is a smoky, fruity single malt, with redcurrant alongside earthy peat smoke. The nose brings redcurrant, Madagascan vanilla, tiger prawn, salami and peppercorns, with an ashy note throughout. On the palate peat smoke builds, with tobacco, cigar smoke, dark fruit and leather. The finish is spicy, with chilli, cherry menthol and lingering peat smoke.
