Longrow 100 Proof Batch 2 (70cl, 57.1%)

Longrow 100 Proof Batch 2 is a heavily peated Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery, released in early 2026 as the second batch in the 100 Proof series. It is bottled at 57.1% ABV, which is 100 proof on the British scale, without chill-filtration or added colour. The spirit spent about four years in bourbon casks, then roughly two and a half years in Rioja red wine casks. Longrow is distilled twice and peated to around 50 to 55 ppm. The nose has red currants, Madagascan vanilla, peppercorns and ashy smoke, with savoury maritime notes. The palate brings peat smoke, tobacco, cigar notes, dark fruit and leather on an oily texture. The finish is long and spicy, with chilli, cherry and menthol, and lingering peat.
