Longrow 100 Proof Batch No. 2 (57.1%)

Longrow 100 Proof Batch No. 2 is a limited edition peated Campbeltown single malt from the Springbank distillery, where Longrow is the smoky side of production. It is bottled at 57.1%, which is 100 proof. This batch is the first in the series to be finished in Rioja casks, where the whisky spent two and a half years. The Spanish red wine wood adds a warm, fruity depth to the Longrow smoke. The whisky is a dark amber in the glass. It is described as smoky and peaty, balanced between classic Scotch peat and Mediterranean fruit.
