Longrow is the peated single malt made at Springbank in Campbeltown, and this is a 21 year old bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The whisky was matured in a mix of 65% sherry casks and 35% bourbon casks.
The nose has a savoury note with hints of hazelnut and blackcurrant. The palate is syrupy sweet yet delicate, with fizzy cola bottles and cigar box smoke. The finish recalls shingle beaches, flint and seaweed.
