Longrow 21 Years

Longrow 21 Year Old is a peated single malt made by the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The whisky is drawn from 65% sherry casks and 35% bourbon casks, and is bottled without added colouring or chill filtration. Longrow is the peated whisky of the house, made from barley dried over peat for 48 hours and produced entirely on site, bottling included. The nose is spicy, with a touch of hazelnut and blackcurrant. The palate is syrupy sweet yet delicate, with cola and cigar-box smoke. The finish is a typical Longrow one, recalling shingle beaches, flint and seaweed.
